Facts:

The only known freshwater jellyfish in the UK. Probably brought to the UK by explorers bringing plants to Kew in 1838. Has been found in various locations around the UK in great numbers at certain times. Its distribution is not well known as yet so more research is required. They are around 2cm in diameter and prefer still waters. If you see them the sighting can be reported here.
