Facts:

This anemone has spread throughout the northern hemisphere over the last century and is found at many sites around the UK it is a rock pool species but is often found in brackish water and harbours. It was most likely introduced on the bottoms of ships. No other UK sea anemone has the distinctive orange stripes of this species.
